Headaches - Three years ago I was involved in a serious accident which resulted in brain stem damage and a plate being put in my neck. Pseudo Bowel Obstruction - My daughter Bridget and I started taking VIDACELL in June 2006. Since then we have experienced unbelievable results. Bridget was born with a rare medical condition known as pseudo bowel obstruction in which the muscles and nerves in her small intestine do not function properly. This causes bacteria overgrowth in her GI tract for which she has take antibiotics and motility drugs regularly. Bridget was totally dependant on IV nutrition. When she tried to eat by mouth she would become very ill. Since July 2003 she was only able to stay off her medication for only two days. The first week on VIDACELL she began eating almost full calorie by mouth some days. We were eventually able to give her a 26 day break from her antibiotics. Because her condition is so complicated we still have to use antibiotics at times and struggle with set backs, however, it's amazing that Bridget is now completely off the motility drugs. Another amazing change is that her multiple surgery scars have lightened up in color to where they almost match the rest of her skin. She has also had measurable improvement in some nerve hearing loss that was diagnosed as permanent.
