Only rules for winning wars are nature's rules of survival. Review of forgotten facts. Non-national terrorists are not signatories to the Geneva Convention and are not entitled to the protections or privileges of a contract signed among nations. Example, you sell property you have clear title too that you have paid for by hard work or shrewd investment; if you believe non-signatories to a contract are entitled to benefits of a contract, feel free to send me twenty percent of profits you made by selling your property.
Amendment XIV of the Bill of Rights states 'All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof '' where does it say in the Constitution or Bill of Rights, contracts of privileges between American citizens and their governments extend to foreign terrorists or any other non-legal residents in the United States?
Lincoln knew that the only rules for winning wars are nature's rules of survival. Remember Lincoln suspended habeas corpus in the North, and allowed Sherman to burn, rape, and massacre his way across the South to break Confederate citizens' will to support their Civil War effort.
America's governments have a tradition of believing the last war will always be America's last war. Following World War II America abolished its intelligence services before the Cold War which gave the Soviet Union an unnecessary edge. Following the Korean conflict, America abolished it sniper units which left America's military having to buy off the shelf sporting rifles to use as sniper weapons during the first part of Vietnam War. Perhaps the dumbest national security blunder ever by American public officials in all of American history was the majority decision by the Supreme Court granting equal rights and due process right to international foreign terrorists.
Article III Section 1 of the United States Constitution 'The judges of both the supreme and inferior courts, shall hold their offices during good Behavior '.' Find me anyone who believes that making up Constitutional law that threatens national security not approved by due process through America's other checks and balances or citizens' approval is good Behavior. Those guilty of supporting judicial non-good behaviors are collaborators; I will let you insert your own adjectives.
One little known thing about the Constitution is that if gives Americans the right to be stupid and destroy their nation so long as it is done by due process not by any single renegade from the checks and balances be it the Executive branch, Legislative branch, or Judicial branch. Once the checks and balance are all corrupted, the Constitution can be abolished and the process started over.
Non-exercised muscles wither away; do not Constitutional due process rights wither away if they are not used to peacefully with due process remove from office 'judges of both the supreme and inferior courts' not engaging is good Behaviors that threaten national security?
Court rulings can be agreed with or disagreed with, however when court rulings exceeds light or transient consequences and are based on bad Behavior which fabricates Constitutional law to benefit America's sworn enemies, rule by law may require the rare exceptional response of removing judges for non-good behavior. It is an option in the Constitution. Not having the courage to enact the option does not mean America's Founders did not provide it. Do not take my wordson faith,go read the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights as originally written.
Regardless of amount of wealth one has or lacks, no one gets out of life alive and their only perpetual legacy is their reputation. What citizen characteristic is between traitor and 'ugly American'? One can ask any liberal Democrat moderate Republican or member of one particular Supreme Court majority of five what it feels like to be an 'American in name only.'
