The Vurtego V2 is the latest step in the evolution of high performance pogo sticks. With a fully integrated one piece bottom bracket and stainless steel slider shaft rotated 45 degrees for added strength, the V2 is the lightest and strongest pogo stick we've ever built. The larger pedal surface area provides a stable platform for beginning riders, and optional riser bars allow riders to choose less aggressive configurations for exercise-focused bouncing. Pogo sticks in the past have typically used a metal spring for propulsion. In order to achieve light weight, adjustability, and high performance, Vurtego has patented a unique air-spring propulsion system. Simply put, it works by compressing air rather than steel. This is a tremendous advantage over other pogo sticks because it is very light and fully adjustable.

The body of the Vurtego pogo stick is a thermoplastic cylinder which is also the compression chamber for the air spring. It houses a piston and seal that are attached to a stainless steel slider shaft that extends out of the bottom of the pogo stick. A fill valve in the top of the stick allows the rider to add air to the cylinder to whatever pressure is desired. The higher the air pressure, the stiffer the spring.

Vurtego pogos come completely assembled, but must be inflated with air before use. This is easily done with a tire pump, or an air compressor. Riders of all ages, weights, sizes, and athletic abilities can use Vurtego pogos by simply adjusting the air pressure to the desired level for their intended use. Vurtego makes different sized pogo sticks because proper fit is important in high-performance pogo sticking. To get the best performance out of your pogo stick, it's important to select the right size for your height. The most common mistake made by aggressive male purchasers is that "bigger is better". If you buy a pogo stick that is too tall for you, you won't be able to bend over it when jumping and won't be able to put all your weight into it. Similarly, a too short pogo stick will have you bending over too much and cause potential back aches. While standing on the foot pegs, the handlebars should come right about to the crease formed when you bend over at the waist. Weight is not a factor when deciding which size pogo stick to buy. Buy the size that fits you best and the air pressure can then be adjusted for your weight and the type of bouncing you want to do. By the way, all Vurtego pogo sticks are capable of handling riders up to 275 lbs.
