In previous articles, I have mentioned that the power elite’s global plan to bring about a World Socialist Government has been in operation for centuries. I have referred to Philip Freneau’s article in 1792 explaining how they will gain control of the U.S., and will accuse anyone arguing against what they were doing as being against “the general welfare” (for which Socialism purports to provide). And I have quoted from Alexis de Tocqueville’s 1840 DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA regarding how people will be “reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals.” Shortly after this remark, in 1848, there occurred the first use of the term “new world order” when P.J. Bailey in the 3rd edition of FESTUS wrote: ” Ye are all nations. I a single soul. Yet shall this new world order outlast all.”

It’s critical to the power elite’s plans for global control that the public be kept ignorant about important information. For example, some years ago I filed a Freedom of Information request with the Department of Defense (DOD) regarding Pakistani intelligence chief General Mahmud Ahmed’s visit here just before 9/11. General Ahmed had $100,000 wired to 9/11 ringleader Mohamed Atta, and just before 9/11 several high-level Pentagon officials suddenly cancelled their travel plans for the morning of 9/11. Finally, I received a partial DOD response dated May 20, 2008 which indicated Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz had an office call with General Ahmed and others on September 10, 2001. Blacked out was “U.S.-Pakistani Military and Intelligence Relations” and most other sections. Although the DOD response indicated General Ahmed met with National Security Council members September 5 and 6, 2001, blacked out is where General Ahmed was on September 4. The DOD response also indicated there was an office call between Assistant Secretary of Defense Peter Rodman and General Ahmed in which Rodman “recalled past personal experience working with Pakistan while on former Secretary of State Kissinger’s staff.”

One of the power elite's most powerful control devices is to get nations in debt, as they did with Britain via the Bank of England in the late 17th century. When the American colonies started printing their own money in the 1760s, Britain began a campaign against them (e.g., Stamp Act). This resulted in the American Revolution, which caused the power elite to plot how it could destroy this new independent republic.

Then in 1992, the Commission on Global Governance was established with Urquhart as a member. The Ford Foundation (along with the Carnegie Corporation, MacArthur Foundation and others) provided support for the work of the Commission, which in 1995 produced a report, “Our Global Neighborhood,” that included the following words: “A new world order must be organized…. Nations have to accept that in certain fields, sovereignty has to be exercised collectively…. We strongly endorse community initiatives to… encourage the disarming of citizens. Acceptance of the compulsory jurisdiction of the World Court should surely be a condition for membership in the United Nations…. We are… in need of a mobilizing principle…. That principle could well be global governance, a genuine internationalism, a new world order that secures the ascendancy of global neighborhood values over divisive nationalism.”

Javier Solana, formerly a physics instructor in Virginia, had become the political head of NATO as part of the power elite’s larger plan. He had been supported for this position by Rhodes scholars Bill Clinton, Strobe Talbott, and U.S. Ambassador to Spain Richard Gardner, who had written in the CFR’s Foreign Affairs (April 1974) about the desirability of “an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece-by-piece.”

"Get them in debt" for centuries has been a slogan used by the power elite to control individuals and entire nations. Regarding America, one of the driving forces behind the conflict between Britain and Americans 240 years ago was the colonies' printing of their own currencies in the mid-1700s. This represented an independence from the power elite, which the latter began conspiring to crush.
