Diabetes
Children fed cow's milk during the first 8 days of life are twice as likely to develop insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus [IDDM] as children who are not fed cow's milk during the first week of life.
This study suggests a causal link between early introduction to cow's milk and IDDM may exist, and that exclusive breast-feeding may play a protective role against this disease.(Look how long they've suspected this, but never mentioned a widespread word....)

Individuals diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes are at double the risk of having a stroke compared to those without diabetes.
