Determining the Weak Links - the Chinese Perspective

You are what you eat, breathe, drink and think.  The underlying causes of disease can be external or internal.  For example, the climate you choose to life in may affect you health.  Dry climates may be detrimental to your health.  If you are a smoker or have asthma and suffer the loss of a loved one, grief, smoking and dryness weaken the lung.

Moist climates weaken the spleen.  If you live in the northwest, eat sweets, or have taken antibiotics, you may develop chronic immune deficiency disorders.  Sweets cause mucous and weaken the spleen.  Antibiotics weaken the digestive organs including the spleen.
